Finding Hope in the Waiting

Have you ever found yourself in a season of waiting? Waiting for a prayer to be answered, for a loved one to return, or for a door to finally open? Waiting can feel long and heavy — but Scripture reminds us that God is present in the middle of it.

Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!”

The waiting isn’t wasted. In it, God strengthens faith, deepens trust, and reminds us that His timing is perfect.

If you’re in a waiting season right now, I want to encourage you: you’re not alone. God is with you, and He will not fail you.

Would you like encouragement like this sent directly to your inbox? I’ve created a short devotional for mothers of prodigals — a 7-day journey of Scripture and reflection to bring hope.
