KATHLEEN’S VITAL VERSES

VITAL VERSE:

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)

REFELCTION:

What an amazing invitation.  We can approach our Father confidently and expect mercy and grace, not judgment, not accusation, in our time of need. He is a good Father.

And we can approach Him when we need Him most.  When Jim, my husband,  was sick and hallucinating and I didn’t know the cause, I could ask Him for grace and mercy.  He gave me strength and power to persevere in the darkness, before Jim’s miraculous healing.

And we can approach Him with every day needs as well.  There is no requirement that the need be extraordinary.  It is enough that it is a need we have.  So when I had an unexpected financial setback this week, I could go to the Father as well.  I can trust He will meet every need that I have, big or small.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR THE WEEK:

I will put my trust in Him for all my needs.
